Freelance for my own company. Work in an architectural capacity for various clients on a range of architecture, landscaping, construction and product design projects as well as feasibility studies for regional development organisations and councils. These include Bauman Lyons Architects, Peter Codling Architects, Maggie Pickles Architects, TGN Construction, Strike Research, Bike Track Ltd and an international eco-resort company with property in Costa Rica, Canada and Panama.

Architectural Technician. Headhunted to take the lead on a prominent historic re development and new build project which included all aspects of the design phase through to construction. Specialism in detailing created additional opportunities to work within the company of a variety of other projects in a freelance capacity for the next three years.

Architectural Technician. Experience in working on a variety of projects, from residential to industrial, education to bluelight. Specialised in detailing, specification of materials, site visits, contractor liaisons and project delivery from planning through construction to hand-over.

Bike Track Ltd

Sheffield, UK. 2006 –

Lead Designer. As one of my most regular freelance clients, Bike Track specializes in the design and construction of BMX tracks and MTB trail design. Projects vary in size and complexity from ‘pump’ and ‘play’ tracks to national and international standard race facilities.

Works include design and detailing for grant applications, planning approval, tender, construction and as built drawings. Feasibility studies for landowners and stakeholders are a specialty.

I have worked for various other companies’ pre 2006, which has helped me compile knowledge of different trades and businesses. I also volunteer in various capacities for charity organisations.

Other Interests

I have a passionate interest in cycling, having raced semi-professionally at an international level, both individually and as part of the British Cycling National Squad. I also am an avid snowboarder, skier, climber and love to be hands on; I have been making, breaking and fixing since a young age. I have a passion for vehicles and bikes, specifically Austin Mini’s, Norton motorcycles and Gertrude, a Ford Thomas 52 seat, 7.2l, yellow school bus that I am converting to run on bio-waste.
